About Internships

At Center Stage Productions, we are focused on education; the community receives the wonderful byproduct of this: high-quality musical theatre performances from local youth. Along with our two past seasons of summer productions, we are also in the middle of holding our second season of workshops for youth, all which are geared toward a different aspect of theatre. Part of our vision is also to give students the opportunity to have leadership roles in productions, furthering not only their theatrical capabilities, but also real-world applications of what they will learn: direction, communication, collaboration, education, organization, and problem-solving skills. Enter our new internship program!

Selected Interns will take leadership roles in Frozen Jr rehearsals, meaning they must be available for most (at least 85% of) rehearsals. Please ensure you are available for the following rehearsal and performance dates before applying:

April 13th, 14th, 20th, 21st for auditions and callbacks

9am-12pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from June 11th-August 1st for rehearsals

August 4th, 11th, 18th at 1pm and 4pm for performances

There will be some additional time required to help with planning, set building, costuming, etc. Those dates will be scheduled with the directors at a later time.

Three documents must be completed to apply:

  1. An applicant information form.

  2. The applicant's resume.

  3. The applicant's cover letter, which should introduce the applicant, describe their experience with theatre, explain why they are interested in becoming an Intern, state what skills they can contribute to the production, and what they hope to gain from the experience.

All three completed documents should be saved as .pdf files and attached and emailed to centerstageproductions.ys@gmail.com no later than 5pm on Friday, March 15th. No late applications will be accepted.
