Seussical™

Open to students 7-17 years old!
Audition applications are due at 8pm on Thursday, April 20th.

Auditions will be on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the Sutter Theater Center for the Arts: 754 Plumas Street, Yuba City.

If needed, callbacks will be April 29th.

If selected to participate:
Rehearsals will take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, in the morning, throughout the months of June and July. (Not all cast members will be required to attend each rehearsal.) Our performances will be on August 4th, 5th, 11th, and 12th. A rehearsal schedule will be made available to participants as soon as possible after the cast list is finalized. If selected, there will be a $100 fee to help with expenses.

For the audition:
1. Please arrive 15 mins before your audition time slot.
2. Please bring an 8x10 headshot and resume stating any prior experience in the performing arts (music, dance, theatre)
3. Please bring a list of potential conflict dates, for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursdays & Saturdays in June and July.
4. Be prepared to introduce yourself; stating name, age, and what song you will be singing.
5. Be prepared to perform about 32 measures (approximately 1 min or so) of an age appropriate musical theatre song. It would acceptable to perform a song from Seussical. Please bring a device with a background/karaoke track to accompany you during your audition.
