Become a Sponsor for Our 2024 Season!
As we begin our third season, we are looking for sponsors to financially support and further our mission. This year, to meet the level of interest in musical theater, we are putting on two musicals: Newsies & Frozen Jr!
With nearly 60 students participating this year, our need for sponsors has grown immensely! Sponsors for this season will receive advertising in our program and on our website, and (depending on level of sponsorship) tickets to a performance of their choice.
Our goal for this season is $20,000, to help cover the cost of both shows and to assist in the purchasing of headset microphones! It is a large and ambitious goal, but we believe that with support from our community,
we will reach it!

Who We Are
Center Stage Productions is a Youth Musical Theatre Company in the Yuba-Sutter Area, founded by Morgan and Corey Kersting in 2022. Our mission is to deliver high-quality musical theatre youth productions to our community showcasing local youth singers, actors, and dancers.

Where it all began: In 2018 our son (11) went to Chico, CA for an audition for Newsies. Then he got a callback. We were thrilled and suddenly very aware of what that commitment would look like if he were cast in a show out of town: driving 2 hours (roundtrip) 4-5 days a week for rehearsals (plus weeks of performances). While we supported him fully, that sounded like a lot more than we actually had time for. We wished there was a local theatre whose main focus was youth musical performances and education.
Center Stage Productions was started with the vision to give youth in the Yuba-Sutter area an opportunity to participate in full stage musicals in their local community. One goal for our company is to provide a safe, fun, and educational environment for youth. Through workshops and productions, students will learn theatre history, etiquette, as well as superstitions. They will be given opportunities to build their portfolios, have headshots done, improve their audition skills, and write a resume. Participants will be given opportunities to choreograph and direct, when appropriate, in order to gain a better understanding of what it takes to put on a show. We want participants to leave with skills that will help them further their passion for musical theatre.
